Sorry for the lateness of my weekend post!  But alas I am unprepared…I have no pictures!  It was a big weekend and we are beat.

Weight today: 4 pounds 7 ounces

Ethan is 34 gestational week old!  He gaining quite a bit of weight very quickly.  The doctors are even starting to say “He Looks Big!” when they do rounds in the morning.  The nurses also thought he looked big…too big for his little pod!  So they lifted the top yesterday to see how Ethan holds his temp.  When we visited last night (Sunday) the top was still up and so was his temp.  Meaning, that he will probably me moved to a crib tomorrow or Tuesday.  We’re so excited!

I won’t go into detail, but we are also making big progress in the breast feeding department.  Hopefully it will  just continue to get better so we can start giving him bottles as well.

Other big news is that my Baby Shower was today!  My fabulous friend Kate hosted an incredible party with the help of her boyfriend Erik (the chef), and my friends Liz and Catrina.  It was a very fun time for everyone and Ethan got some amazing gear.  I can’t wait for him to get home and see his room…it’s busting at the seams with everything he could ever need!  I will be posting pictures ASAP…the shower will have it’s own post soon.  Now if I can only keep Dewey and Murphy out of the stuff…
