The Farm

We’re so busy having fun and relaxing that I’m taking the easy way out and using my phone almost exclusively this week, popping the pics into Afterglow for a quick edit. The only time my camera has been hauled was for the baby shower on Saturday.

It’s been kind of liberating.

And the effects are perfect for depictions of life in the prairie lands.

So far we’ve seen baby chicks and ducks, picked up a new “digger” toy, dyed Easter eggs, stretched with Grandpa, had a day-long wind storm, made oven omelette, gone to the zoo, gotten new glasses (well, I did anyway), drove the tractor, eaten to-die-for Mexican food, wore cowboy hats, and read about a million books. And check out my ride…Dad’s big red truck. Bitchin’.

Oh, and since everyone I talk to is TOTALLY confused about where we live and what’s going on with our relocation, last week’s post may help.

We take of Wednesday with St. Louis in our sights

And then it’s just another 8 days (of hotel living) till we close on the house…

Anyone following me on Pinterest knows which room I want to get my hands on first.

Good to read about the fun we’re having.
That wind/dust-storm yesterday must have been a replay of the 30’s.
Going to miss the big guy when you go.
The drive-way will never be the same with all his gravel scooping.

We’ll just have to see you in St. Louie.
