Inspecting Fall

**Don’t forget to enter the Durable Goods Jewelry giveaway! Ends Oct. 31**

This time of year is what I’d call perfect.

If I could find a place where it’s like this ALL the time, I’d make it my life goal to live there.

And, might I go so far to brag, that this pregnancy could not have been timed better. First trimester in the Spring, Second trimester in the Summer when I could bear to be seen in a swim suit, and Third trimester in the Fall when it’s nice and cool to accommodate my ill fitting clothes and constant hot flashes.

Makes it a lot more fun to waddle around our beautiful neighborhood with this dude.

Oh how getting outside makes the afternoons so much more enjoyable.

Playing games with trees. Finding the “most-super-perfect” red maple leaf. Walking the Dew-Man. Quietly searching for the last of this season’s bull frogs and turtles. Climbing any tree featuring branches within reach.

And what fall day would be complete without orange pants? After seeing them in a fancy children’s clothing magazine I quickly pulled up some copycats on H& for $10 vs. $40. Even Ethan things they are amazing.

We’re looking forward to the day when our park adventures will be joined by a little dude and a mom who can go more than 30 minutes without a trip to the loo.

I’ve been making some design changes to the blog lately, as you can see. Please let me know if anything is not working, looks terrible, or drives you nuts. It takes me 19 hours to figure out code for each little thing so it’s slow-going. But I’m digging the new look!

Tower Grove Park is, quite possibly, the most wonderful place on earth. I love to stand in the shelter by the playground and look out over the the park. Perfection!

    Love the blog layout.

Ethan told the trees to “hold some of their leaves for grandpa!”
