Blogging: Year Three—Highlights of 2013
While I technically launched my blog in July of 2009 with the intent to share information about my pregnancy with only our family and close friends, things didn’t really take off until that December when Ethan was born.
What I’m saying is, I’ve been blogging for THREE years.
Celebrating these yearly milestones have been so far from my mind because, well, I’m exhausted after the holidays. By the time I remember another 365 days have passed it’s February and that just seems too late. But this year I somehow remembered and figured a photo oriented Year in Review would be in order? So here’s my favorite moments of 2013…
Dolphin show at the Baltimore Aquarium (AKA Mom Fail)
Making Ethan’s Tent
House hunting and baby bellies
My sweet friends throw us a going away party…goodbye Virginia
Saying goodbye to Ethan’s Virginia buddies
Visiting “The Farm” before our move to St. Louis
A random Spring snowstorm welcomes us back to St. Louis
Easter egg hunting
Ethan: Hose Man
My friend Catrina shows us how to make adorable capes
To Denver to meet Erika’s sweet baby boy
Checking out the Museum of Transportation
Catrina’s Star Wars baby “sprinkle”
Marley & Cooper arrive!
Meeting cousin Annette in Columbus, NE
Kitchen Renovation Stage One: New hood, floating shelves, and tile
Ethan’s new curtains
Ethan’s Third Birthday Party
Thank you to all my readers, you’ve helped me keep myself accountable for documenting this fabulous journey and I’ve appreciated your comments, considerations, suggestions, comedy, and compassion for these last three years. I have some updates coming soon to the blog and hope it will enhance the Preparing for Peanut experience!
