A Non-Post Post
I’m completely exhausted and have about a million things to do since getting home from our trip and before our next guests arrive. Laundry, cleaning, cooking…all the fun stuff. But it’s in preparation for more guests, so the reward is huge!
Therefore, all I’m going to do is take five seconds to say come see me sing with the Alexandria Choral Society this weekend!
We’ll be singing in six different languages (chinese, russian, latvian, spanish, latin, and traditional scottish) and blazing through the Kodaly’s Missa Brevis…if you don’t know what that is, come find out. You will love it.
So if you are in the neighborhood and want to hear some great live music, here are the deets!
Saturday, Oct. 20 @ 8pm
Fairlington United Methodist Church
3900 King Street, Alexandria, VA
To be honest, I’m a little nervous. It’s been a LOOOONG time since I’ve performed with a choir and this one is no joke—the bar is set very, very high for each member. It was all sounding great at our Tuesday night practice though, so this should be a ton of fun!
I’m hoping that after the concert I will finally stop singing the Credo from Missa Brevis in my head over and over and over….
Have a great weekend!!

I would love to come and see you sing…I only wish it was at the Methodist Church here in Columbus.
Enjoy yourself and I can already here the BRAVO’S!!!
Can’t wait to see you perform this weekend!
See you tomorrow!
Good luck! Think we’ll come for your Christmas concert!
Excellent!
We wish we were there to hear you sing! Good luck and if you by some chance get a video please send us a copy.
Thanks! I promise I will post any video if possible.
